Karamea Community Incorporated (KCI) Membership Application

KCI has been formed to provide a forum for all members of the Karamea community and we would very much like to have you on board as a member.

As a member you will be kept notified of KCI developments, will have immediate access to the minutes of the meetings and can vote at the AGM.

If a good proportion of the community sign up as members we will be:

  • Enabling a greater focus on issues which are vital for the community's future
  • Creating a more integrated community across sectoral interests
  • Facilitating better communication within the community
  • Engaging a greater number in the community in the democratic election of our governance body
  • Enhancing the chance of success with funding organisations

Non-members can still access KCI meeting minutes as they are published on the community website at Karamea.org.nz/karamea_community_incorporated and can attend KCI meetings. Non-members cannot vote at the KCI AGM or at Committee meetings.

All we need is your contact details and payment of the $5.00 membership fee. If you want to make payment electronically our bank account details are:

You can also make a $5.00 cash payment at the Information and Resource Centre.

Your $5 subscription goes directly toward the administration costs of KCI (printing / Community Centre hire, etc) and is crucial in financing the day to day operations of the group.
